Welcome to October, where the realities of Autumn are both seen and felt! The sun rises & sets as if on fast forward, the leaves are turning and trees will soon be awash with rich autumnal colours, the winter woollies come out AND the preparations Hallowe’en begin. Every year Hallowe’en starts earlier and is more enthusiastically celebrated, but for those with food allergies 31st October is a date which can spook in all the wrong ways.

Every year there are more fun and safe products out there and we were devilishly delighted to welcome some of these to our Free From Halloween Award! Entries really demonstrated the breadth of the occasion whether out Trick or Treating, throwing a party or cosied up at home. Our judges really embraced the diversity of entries, tucking in with ghoulish relish and sharing their fangtastic feedback.
